  • oh my god, I am shocked. This is pure fascism. These nuns and priests should be taken to jail, no punishment is too bad for those bastards. They are no different from the staff at Auschwitz or Guantanamo. Fascist dirty sexist arsehole pigs!!! How dare they call themselves humans, they are human trash.

  • slavery!

  • My poor Mum went through the worst you can get , but survived a d had my older sisters side, never think your bad my mum thought that and she did#nt have a bad bone in her body x

  • Would you please consider making subtitles, for those who are hard of hearing or who have trouble understanding the Irish 'accent' especially when the person is upset and their voice wavering so much. Thank you.

  • i feel so sad for those poor woman who suffered in those laundries nobody had the right to keep the women there it was a disgusting

  • My husband is from an Irish family, originally from Cork.

Members of his family have said that they had sisters who were taken away to these 'laundries' and they didn't see them again.

These women, and the children that were stolen from them, deserve justice. What right did those nuns and priests have to punish them and take away their children? The biggest sinners were those who used the veil of the church to hide their abuse of innocent women.

I hope they burn in hell for eternity :'(

  • To know that my mother went through this hell breaks my heart. She is a beautiful person and I wish she would realise that and not feel shame. My mother still wont talk about it to her family. I hope one day she can speak out and find her lost son, my lost brother.

  • You can now buy a copy of The Forgotten Maggies from the website Magdalene Survivors together. Anyone interested in human rights, Irish politics or social issues in general. then this is a must see.

  • Your story should be know over the world, the story of the magdalenes should be known by all. Its unforgivable, what The Church did. The're also must come a book about the magdalene survivors and their stories and in different languages.

I have a voice, I'm going to tell your stories

  • I´m shocked, no matter what horrible things you have experienced, take revenge on the Church, the nuns, the priests. Your revenge is to love youself in anyway. You are beautiful and strong ! They wanted to damage your selfconfidence, and your soul. Tell to everyone your story, what horrible things you´ve expercienced, Tell them the story about the Magdaleneslaundries !

    Greetings Michelle van Min
