Kirk (holding the girls arm leading her around): This is the observation deck, thats the flight deck down there with the shuttle craft.

Girl: Interesting

Kirk: Isn't it?

Girl: Tell me Captain kirk, did you order soft lights exspecially for the ocasion?

Kirk: If i had ordered soft lights, I'd also have arranged for music and flowers. Unfortunatly it isn't so. On the enterprise we try to duplication earth conditions of night and day as closely as possible.

Girl: Starlight, Starlight bright. I wish I may I wish I might. Do you remember that Captain?

Kirk: Its very old.

Girl: Almost as old as the stars themselves. And this ship. All this power surging and throbing yet under control. Are you like that Captain?

Kirk (with a really smug look goes over to the girl)

Girl: All this power at your command, the decisions that you have to make.

Kirk: Come from a very human source.

Girl: Are you captain? human?

Kirk: You can count on it.

Girl: Tell me about the women in your world captain.

Kirk: I'd rather talk about you. You must have wanted to perform since the first time you saw your father act. When was that?

Girl: In the begining.

Kirk: Tell me about that.

Girl: Thats not fair. You haven't answered my question yet, about the women.

Kirk: What would you like to know?

Girl: Has the machine changed them? Made them just people instead of women?

Kirk: Worlds may change, galexies disintigrate, but a woman always remains a woman.

Girl: All this, and power too. (looks at kirk in awe) Cesar of the stars...and cleopatra to worship him.
