  • It only takes a few years to petrify wood. Here in the US there is a man who cuts custom size/shape honing stones from wood, buries them in clay for a few years, and sells the naturally finished product. It doesn't take thousands or millions of years as some say. So called 'experts' just hate to admit they are wrong on some things, even when proven so by new data, methods, evidence, and facts. This is nothing new or earth-shattering, and I suspect it is likely some ancients knew of this also.

  • This is based on the assumption that these inscriptions would have been carved before actual placement and the lower portions would have been protected from the elements through sedimentation, sinking, and inaccessibility etc. Perhaps the true ancient language of Britian has been there all the time beneath our feet with these gigantic markers saying, 'Look here!'

  • A thought came to me this morning. If many of the stone monoliths in the British Isles ever had inscriptions on like a few have, but these have simply been worn away from the natural elements and people touching them, might it be reasonable to conclude that the best areas to look for these inscriptions might be placed at the base of many of these stones beneath ground level. Are they any forms of non-evasive equipment that might be employed to detect these through the soil at such angles?

  • I think what Alan Wilson and Baram Blackett should do is create a visually appealing King Arthur website with geneologies, sources, moderated forum, links to clips and publications etc for easy access and simplicity.

  • Heres another! Look up 'Amazing Discovery - a fossilised tree trunk in a burial chamber in Angelesy' on utube. During a tv documentary they examined a stone monolith cut to shape and positioned within a neolithic mound at Bryn Celli Ddu....only to realise it's actually a fossilised tree trunk....so it was cut by man before being fossilised! Since the documentary few people from academia have ventured to examine the monolith in closer detail. Does it have rings inside it's structure?

  • Wow! I've just spent three days watching everything on utube relating to Alan Wilson and King Arthur! So do I understand it right that the people who built the ancient stone monoliths, circles and mounds etc all spoke Coelbren - the ancient tongue of Great Britian? If you google 'Earliest writing found' you'll see an amazing similarity between Coelbren and the Harrapan script dated to some 5,500 BC. That should cause a stir! :-)

  • So this is Alan Wilson. I friended him on Facebook thinking he was a mate at work with the same name. Thanks for uploading. I'll have a watch
