This song should've been a bigger hit. It was a timely tune when it came out in the eighties. Even the video was cool. Carly's a TREASURE!!

Ohh, I never wouldv'e guessed she had any black in her. Not that it matters, I just never knew or saw it.

She is actually not 'biracial' - if you watch the clip for 'Hello Big Man' - a stunning song dedicated to her parents - you'll see them both, and very handsome they are. Easy to see Carly's good genes. The song may sadly have gone off YT. A crying shame.

hotcakes was my first ever carly album. i was 11 when it came out in 1974 and i've been her biggest fan ever since. my favorit song from hotcakes is "misfit".
