Pet Food Recall - PURINA - Baby died on 04/21/07 - melamine poison

Publix supermarket killed my dog, my baby ... My ex-husband bought this food on 04/04/2007 ... wasn't supposed to be on sale ... ** Baby died on April 21, 2007 ** I went to talk with the general manager of Publix Supermarket in Orlando, Florida, he said: " Publix has nothing to do with it! We do not contaminate the food!"
I agree, but how do they explain that the food was both after March 30, 2007, after the Recall date, ON 50% OFF?
When you go to a supermarket, especially a renowned supermarket, you expect to buy food not expired and within the law, FDA regulations.
When I took Baby to the vet he was only 5% chance of surviving. I did everything a could to save him.
I miss him! I need it! He's my baby!
Some people do not realize how important they (pets) are in our lifes.
The video is in Portuguese (my first language), but you can see how he was sad.
He tries to make me happy when I call his name (Baby), He was a sweet heart.
Thousands of people lost their best friends so cruel.
And yes I think that most of the responsibility was of Publix supermarket.
They will not bring my friend back, alive, but I promised to him (Baby) and myself, I'll let everyone know how these companies are irresponsible! They sell junk food to us like water, and they don't even care about it!

He has eaten Purina (Nestle) (Menu Food) We got it at Publix supermarkets in Orlando FL, 20 days after the Recall on 50% off sale.
Fox News did a story with me, but Publix supermarket banned. Publix is one of the sponsors.

Update: 04/18/2011 Today thousands of people are feeling a bit relieved with the event from four years ago, because ultimately the irresponsible companies are paying, justice is happening! Thank GOD!

@14omega28ok Of course i didn't know! My pets are like my kids. The food was recalled many days after it was shipped and already on the shelf. The list with the Brands was coming up day by day, not in once. Nobody knew exactly each one was contaminated. When purina came up in that list, was to late!

@radiozapp Many brands were recalled. I'm finding it shocking that Merrick, Blue Buffalo, among so many others have been recalled even in the last month or two, because of salmonella of all things.

But my dogs have been on raw meat diets for a couple months now, so I'll never have to worry about that.

Why is Publix responsible for your husband buying expired food?? Why didn't he check the expiration date? Publix isn't responsible for that, but I agree that they are responsible for selling recalled food.
