...I just listened to Olga Kern doing this with the same orchestral forces, and while she has some problems, Blechacz's are more interesting because he is presumably more "famous". This finale is a "dance", sort of, but his harsh, very callous, cynical rendition kills that character entirely, and he totally shows lack of any appreciation of Chopin's movement's color possibilities, it is all raw technique sort of, but the strain, the brutality shows his technical insecurity.

@Marcelo721 MERCI; MERCI; MERCI: Pour tous les vidéos de Rafal .
Celui me touche particulièrement!!!
this was the final round of 2005 Chopin comp. and what an ovation.. even the jury seems embarassed of it and of the level of this so great pianist, thanks for the up., finally in europe we have somebody to put in front (or above) the lang lang's virtuosity, and without acting strange, just with substance.
Rafhal brings up lang lang almost an amateur.

@lallerooo1 Totally agree with you!
Rafal Blechacz is a legend, not only in technique and outstanding virtuosity, but also in its simplicity, temperance, seriousness and concentration in each performance. He does not require twisting or overacted facial expressions ...
Bravo Blechacz, and hopefully keep your wisdom for many more years!
