Drying wet walls with an ELE 6400 Heat Drying machine after a severe water damage in a flooded basement. By tenting the wet walls with carboard I was able to focus the directed heat and dry air on the lower portion of the wall. These walls were under over 1 foot of water. After 1 day 1/2 the affected wall was dry. After 2 days most affected wall was dry, but there were still some damp spots with remaining moisture. After 3 days the walls were completly dry. No demolition was needed, All walls dry within 3 days, the focused dryair worked very well to dry the wall in place. For Wall Drying Service in MA Please Call 978-392-1895 http://aaaflooddrying.com/
@homeapplause The wet wall is intact. The cardboard is to focus the heat for drying the wet wall faster. By focusing the heat the wall hit much higher temperatures. Wall drying takes less time with higher heat. The water damage restoration is accomplished with no demolition, and minimal or no repair costs to fix the damage. Cleanup time is shortened and disruption minimized, customer service maximized. Focused heat drying can be very effective on water damaged ceilings as well. Dry Out by Clay.
