Wow the Tricopter is so stable and forgiving to fly! I think it's going to be an awesome FPV platform!

  • Hey dadde87 just a fine build really enjoy your videos well done and edited. Really thinking of building a tricopter have a blade 400 but havent mastered it. This seems like a very stable platform once again great build.

  • @flyby8906 Thanks man :) Good luck with your blade 400. Keep at it and you'll soon be flying inverted ;)

  • Excellent piloting skills. You make it look so easy but there is a lot of concentration required! I made a tricopter from your design and it flies beautifully. My favorite RC toy ever. Thanks so much for explaining everything on your website.

  • @taurustbolt I don't think that would be possible since this uses a kk board to give different motors different power to stabilize and move the tricopter.

  • Can't you put an vpp (Variable pitch prop) System in it and fly 4D? Would it be possible?

  • What are your thoughts on making one of these with three .15 nitro engines?

  • Click on our name below to view and purchase the "Windestal" frame parts pre-cut and even comes with the bolts!

David Windestal has given us permission to sell his "Windestal" tricopter Glass FIber parts in g10 material.

  • This is my idea of a cheap, stable tri platform. Forget about giving Gaui $400. Love your plans and fiberglass parts layouts on your RCExplorer site, too. Thanks, David -- you've done the heli world a great service with this build and all your fine documentation.

  • How do you control pitch? More or less juice to the tail rotor I'm guessing.

  • I noticed you used 3 CW rotating props. Does it have any adverse affect at all?

  • what airplane is flying in the background?

  • @dadde87

Are the front propellers rotating for the same side?
