The majority of consumers interviewed in the latest Brand Republic video felt that product placement in TV programmes would add a sense of realism to shows if it was carried out in a "discreet way" which was "not very frequent", but they were not so sure if it would persuade them to buy certain products.

  • No product placement should ever be allowed. My God, programme sponsorship is bad enough as it is without this.

ITV and C4 never used to have sponsorship or product placement. Put the ban back on sponsorship and kick placement back to where it belongs - America.

THE UNITED KINGDOM DOES NOT WANT EITHER. THEY RUIN PROGRAMMES.

  • it's all about money ...no one has to see certain products displayed on a TV show..Television should be entertainment .. not trying to sell people something.

    ..well except for the sheeple,,
