  • hi ... is the microphones usb?? i want buy a audio technica at2020 xrl with fast track pro m-audio on imac...

What do you recommend? sorry for my english i'm italian boy ;)

  • Hey there, Audio-Technica make a USB model of this mic, it would be a great start for digital recording!

    Happy recording!

    Syd :)

  • Hey man NIce vidéo , I have this same microphone and i wonder HOW DID YOU GET THAT SOUND i love it , what effects did you had to it . It sound absolutly awsome !

Hope you will answer ! Thanks

  • @monsbe2

    Thanks man!

Note, there is more than the 2020 making this sound. I'm using the 2021 as well to create a stereo image, with some simple master compression. That is the sound of the guitar using these mics going through good pres (Avalon). No EQ or compression used in the mix..

I hope this helps? Best of luck recording!

    Cheers Syd :)

Hi. I have m-audio fast track II. Yesterday i got at2020 xlr version and its sounds amazing ( I have Yamaha F370 acoustic guitar with about 3 months old strings set. I wonder how beatiful it will sound when i buy brand new set of strings. Both M-audio Fast Track and at2020 are good value for money. Cheers ;)
