Boing Boing's Xeni Jardin takes a first look at The Elements for iPad, an iPad-native app that presents the periodic table of elements in an interactive, visually rich interface. Theodore Gray is the author of the project, which is also available in paper book form. The elements are captured in high-resolution photography by Nick Mann.
