  • This is amaZing- it really captures Richard in such a compassionate way. So glad it's making it's way around Davidson. I'm going to play it for Richard next week- he will love it. Thank you, James.

  • What a beautiful documentary of a man that is so a part of this town. I grew up here and know Richard. We lived across the street from him and he was a good neighbor. He payed attention to everything that happened around him and that made us feel safer because he would notice things other people wouldn't. Your documentary was really good and put together well. Thank you for doing this.

I worked there too! I remember him well. He had my dad go get him cigarettes once for him because he couldn't. I am Marianne. Did we work there at the same time?

  • @bluecloudwm Hi Marianne! I am Kim, do you remember me? How are you? Find me on facebook Kim Robinson Lowe.

  • I remember when he wasn't under a guardian and lived in his parents old house with no power or heat. I worked at Cornwell Drugstore which is now a cleaners near Home Economist. He would come in just to get warm. Mike Mittleman is a hero to Richard.

  • What a great segment for Richard! Ive wanted to do s documentary on him for years, glad someone finally did. Sadly he has been banned from the soda shop now... We need a website dedicated to this his great stories.

  • great video!
