I think I prefer the soft mysteriousness of the Ellington arrangement, but this one is pretty interesting.

Thanks for posting this- Fedchock is a masterful arranger and Mark Vinci is my favorite alto player.

This guy gave my school's jazz band a clinic at our annual jazz festival. We ride up to Houston and give a concert. He judged all the bands also. He is really amazing live, and he gave me an outstanding solo award.
