Grand Duchess Alexandra Pavlovna of Russia, (Russian: Александра Павловна: Tsarskoye Selo 9 August 1783 -- 16 March 1801 in Vienna) was a daughter of Tsar Paul I of Russia and sister of Emperors Alexander I and Nicholas I. She became Archduchess of Austria upon her marriage to Archduke Joseph of Austria, Governor of Hungary.

Grand Duchess Elena Pavlovna of Russia (Russian: Великая Княжна Елена Павловна) (24 December 1784 -- 24 September 1803) was a daughter of Grand Duke, later Tsar Paul I of Russia and his second wife Sophie Dorothea of Württemberg. After marrying the son and heir of the Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin she became spouse to the heir and thus dropped her Russian title.

Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna of Russia (Russian: Мария Павловна; 16 February 1786 -- 23 June 1859) was the third daughter of Paul I of Russia and Sophie Dorothea of Württemberg. She was the Grand Duchess of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach by her marriage to Charles Frederick, Grand Duke of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach.

Grand Duchess Catherine Pavlovna of Russia (Russian: Екатерина Павловна; Tsarskoye Selo, 10 May 1788 -- Stuttgart, 9 January 1819) was the fourth daughter of Tsar Paul I of Russia and Princess Sophie Dorothea of Württemberg. She became the Queen of Württemberg upon her marriage to her first cousin Crown Prince William who eventually became King William I of Württemberg in 1816.

Grand Duchess Olga Pavlovna of Russia was born on 22 July 1792 at St. Petersburg, Russia. She was the daughter of Pavel I Petrovich Romanov, Tsar of Russia and Sophia Dorothea Prinzessin von Württemberg. She died on 26 January 1795 at age 2 at St. Petersburg, Russia.

Grand Duchess Anna Pavlovna of Russia (Russian: Анна Павловна; St. Petersburg, 18 January 1795 -- The Hague, 1 March 1865) was a queen consort of the Netherlands.

  • Lovely video of those beautiful Princesses, I also like the portrait of the mother and daughters at the end....... This shall be one of my favorites videos.

  • What a beautiful group of young ladies. The portrait at the end of mother and daughters is very nice.

  • Great video. Tsar Paul was a strange person, indeed. I think he was a good father. But he had a love- hate relationship wuth his mother Catherine the Great and waited eagerly her death. No one really knew who was Paul´s father. But he was sure that father was short- lived tsar Peter the Third. Like his name Pavel Petrovitsh. I was sorry about tsar Paul, I think he was basically a good person but was unsure about his capibilities as a tsar and was murded.
