A Tribute to Terry Beale who was found dead on 15th march 2011 Shes a Mod by The Senators has been re-mastered by Lester Timmings (tim00715) this version is the origin song by Terry beale, at the time when we recorded shes a mod this was never filmed so The Senators music shes a mod has been syncronised with the video by Ray Columbus and the Invaders. for the Senators by lester timmings The Senators were from Birmingham, England. Their single of She`s a Mod was released on Dial Records in 1964. Band line up : Terry Beale lead vocals and songwriter Trever MacGowan, lead guitar and backing vocals Graham Dennis rhythm guitar and backing vocals Bill Ford, bass guitar and backing vocals John Bonham, Unfortunately the Senators version didn`t get much raddio play and wasn`t a hit. However, the song was recorded by Ray Columbus and the Invaders from New Zealand, and became a huge hit across Australia and New Zealand in 1964 and afterwards. Other Versions of the song have been recorded since, and can be found on You Tube.

This is Ray Columbus and the Invaders from New Zealand. They had a number one hit record in Australia in 1965 with this song. They also toured Australia as the support act to Roy Orbison that year. They also performed this song at the "Long Way to the Top concert at the Sysney Entertainment Centre in 2002, although their drummer Jimmy Hill you see here died in 2000.
