  • Is this Ralph Emory's show?

  • Thanks Bud. Thanks. You have brought great reminders of friends Richard Bass, Ray Emmitt & My Best Friend Faron Young. Anyway, played with them all, and at the "Wheel" , Nashville, TN we are friends. Faron, you know, we are friends forever. Love Ya, Kenny Brent

  • They just don't make country songs (or singers) like that anymore. Faron was greater than great and is sorely missed.

  • Real country. Thanks for posting.

  • Faron one of my all time favorites. You just can't beat Faron and his Band.

  • Your forgivin for liking Crystal, what a classy lady she is and from a royal bloodline. Todays "country" is a disgrace. When Im gonna cry is when "the hag" ole Merle passes.

  • I agree, what they are calling country today,is rock& roll with a twang(sometimes, not even a twang!) And as you say, some of them even wear a hat! It's a crying shame.

  • Cont'd...but just 2 add that I, 2, am a longtime musician, but can think of almost no country I've truly enjoyed since the hey-day of Bobby Bare, Ronnie Milsap, and Crystal Gayle (Crystal? All right, but I've always always loved super smooth, somewhat poppy country, too. Faron: didn't "Hello Walls" blow u away? DId me. I'm still grateful, and play it, End of the World, Sea of Heartbreak, along with Bacharach, Spinners, Carpenters, LeGrande, u name it. The less attitude, the more gratitude.
