sounds nice man hey got a question. Did you notice any diference in performance with the edelbrock intake manifold and carb? im thinking of doing the same setup on my monte carlo

@1979corvette1 on the poor old 305 I noticed a huge difference. The original cast iron manifold and 2 bbl carb was in a bad way. Most of the emissions systems were broken and the engine was full of sludge. In the process of swapping the manifold I fixed all that. The engine ran a lot better and the sound of the 4barrels opening up was REAL sweet.

@localdu Exhaust exits your engine from several ports. Headers bring all these sources together into one (or two) locations. Normally they are attached to long pipes, converters and mufflers and sent behind your car. "open" headers have no pipes attached. It's a lot like setting off a few little bombs every second and attaching little megaphones to them. I hope this explanation helps!
