I installed Ubuntu 8.04.1 on my Aspire One, as a change to the standard Linpus to see how it runs.
First impressions are pretty good.

i have problems with my aspire one with windows xp :(
is fast, and sometimes very slow

U should have gone for something lighter instead of Gnome... like fluxbox or something, it would boot faster :D
