  • Chocolate: Forget about Hershey. Buy black chocolate with the highest content of cacao as possible.

  • People will watch that movie, get angry as this doctor says, and that will make them HUNGRY! They will eat popcorn, chips, chocolate and have a Coca-Cola during and after the movie. Way to go!

  • The solution really IS as simple as having some discipline. Nobody in the united states can control themselves, and its no wonder because we live in an environment that makes it as hard as it could be. The real problem at the core of the obesity problem is a discipline problem.

  • Yes it is, but only if it doesn't have all the salt and butter that is in the popcorn you buy at the movies or those bags of popcorn you buy at the grocery store. So basically, it is only healthy if you buy kernals of corn by themselves and pop them yourself without adding anything unhealthy. i.e. most popcorn is unhealthy.

  • you are absolutely right

  • well he's not skinny hes average, but he never exercises or does anything good for his body, i have to exercise because again my stupid acne, he likes taking the escalator over the stairs because everytime we take the stairs he's struggling to catch his breath and he's panting. Although he might have a fast metabolism that doesnt mean that its preventing high lvls of bad cholesterol buildup. i dunno but i for one can't really eat fast food no more.

  • Your friend just, might have a fast metabolism. Some people burn through food (as an energy source) so fast that it seems that food and caloric intake doesn't affect them.

It's still a really unhealthy state to be in imo.

    Balance is key...to everything.

  • popcorn is a healthy snack though!

  • trips me out cuz i have a friend that eats alot of fast food but he's not fat (i would say his meals are 2 out of 3 of just fast food everyday), i calmed down on eating junk food to eating about once-twice a week cuz of my acne but now i know it has much more benefits than i thought. I wouldnt be surprised if my friend develops heart disease or diabetes. fiy you dont have to be fat to get them.

  • Hahahahaha!!! Priceless!

  • It didn't really happen in grade school but in middle school junk food was all there was. The only healthy food was those god awfull red waxed apples.

  • Parents need to stop spoiling their kids. Kick the fat kids out of the house and tell them to play. Fat kids aren't going to be thin overnight, but at least be active and healthy. The way kids should be. Also we need to bring back PE for all grade levels. Right now PE starts at 2nd grade and to me that's a bit too late. PE needs to start right when kids start school at Pre-K all the way to 12th grade. There should also be programs for parents, because being healthy should be a family thing.
