a stock 2005 infiniti g35. yes it IS an automatic, it's just one that lets you go from neutral to drive, and yeah it's bad for the torque converter and transmission, but 290 ponies needed releasing. it was much better in person. the car was warmed up and we were in an environment where the only ppl to hurt were ourselves. vq35de's rock, whether they're made by renault or not. it was awesome, an 80+ ft dbl skid mark from a sedan....

  • it is not automatic. it is manual. how can u rew the engine on automatic ? only on neutral position.

  • @Adil888 yeah... then you drop it into drive... its called blowing your transmission very very quickly

  • Wow, I would never neutral-drop a car this nice, but hey, it sure makes for entertaining videos.

  • yeahp exactly =P he got a new tranny 1 mos post this video. but his dad is an infiniti dealer owner, so yeah

  • so it is possible to have the vlsd on automatic as long as u have aero pckg or wheels and tires pckg

  • Yeah, as everyone has been saying, id never do that with an auto. But thanks heaps to you for posting so that no one else has to do it ever again :)

    Nice work

  • why wont you just power brake launch it. Hold the breaks. rev then release. You'll get the same result almost.

  • nice take off

  • this is probably not your car or if it is youre a fucken retard,, you know how much you can ruin your transmision doin this you dipshitt,, i own a g35 sedan i would never do this to my car ,,

  • when you do this how much better is your 0-60. With my 04 5AT g35 coupe i break torque launch at 2000 rpm. I would only use this once and it is only to beat my friends Saturn Ion redline. i come close everytime and i could beat him if i do this i bet.

  • @valentin21485 yes it is true and the reason is because of the weight. U see the front of the car is heavier than the back because the engine is there so more weigh means its pressed down to the ground harder reuslting in more traction

  • i got a question and please reply: is it true that a fwd car will perform/handle better around snowy conditions than a rwd? Just looking for an honest opinion from someone that truely knows. Thanks

  • @LP1995XL

I can rev my 1999 ford f 150 and switch to drive without having to break, but trying this I'm not... don't have money for a tranny if I blow it.
