  • Are those Power Cranks? If so, his pedaling technique is flawless. I'm thinking about getting some PC's, do you recommend?

  • Nope - it's a track specific SRM (power measuring) crankset. Taylor has never seen PC's...and he's a pretty good "pedaller". Save your money and buy a power measuring device.

  • i think garmin-chipotle should put him on the roster for 09 tour de france cuz he has a crazy chance of winning the prologue and that'll be huge at 19!

  • No plans on riding any grand tours for a few years...better to develop his fitness for a while and win more than just a prologue.

  • i wanna ride that fast lol

  • @riceoobxg ;: make your own plug by using the cork from a bottle of wine, fit it with a knife. easy peasy

  • ill smoke that fool on my vilano 46/14t

  • Tho he looks better in this vid. than in recent wind tunnel pix. Tighter *and* more comfortable on the Felt than on the Trek. Seat is lower here and foot more flexed. Some time on PowerCranks wouldn't hurt--though they hurt. A lower seat and one-legged pedaling on Computrainer with spinscan would yield a gain. Scary to think about when you look at what he can already do.

  • He's a "pretty good" pedaler. He's still stranded between ankling and flexing w/ very little power going over the top (point your foot down and try to "kick"--muscle group recruited is behind the knee rather than hips, glutes and inner thighs with flexed pedal stroke)

  • u look so uncomfortable, that is a terrible aero position.....totally kidding bra haha. smooth and efficient, u must cut throught the wind like nothing

  • This may be a dumb question but.. how do you get bar tape to fit on a TT base bar for use on a pursuit bike? The plug for bar tape is usually made for 26mm bar ends but the end of a base bar is 22.2mm. Can't get the plug to fit. If anybody knows, that would be great help thanks.

  • PowerCranks? On a fixed gear? Jesus.

Think about it for a minute.
