Why people are saying it's was in the Gaulish war? Helvetii were Celtic not Gaulish. Yes Gaulish and Celtic were close each other but Gaulish were mostly in the area of the France.
Sorry if my English is bad, it's not my mother tongue

You kinda had the right idea, but the whole album is the story of the Gaulish Wars, from a tribe called the Helvetios' point of view. Up to Meet the Enemy, its kind of a precursor to war. Then all the way up to Alesia is the story of the war. Uxellodunon is kind of the end, where they go make their final stand, and ultimatley are destroyed. The fact that the album is one long story, makes it so much more powerful. I love it and i don't see anybody topping this in 2012, except maybe Meshuggah :)

@heero7yui Just cause you love a band doesn't mean you have to know how to pronounce the name
-
".....and then you have Chrigel and he is just a fucking monster with his vocal's...." xD
-
For the pronounciation of their name, listen to 'Uis Elveti' (from the album 'Ven').
-
No offense but if you really 'love' the band as you say, don't you think you should have at least taken the time to learn how the band's name is pronounced?
2:33 I'm sorry but did you say a 'signal'?
Now I've listened it, I think that "everything remains" is their best album. I think that they have tried to make a album that sound like "everything remains" album but with more folk. I remember that the first time I listened to "everything remains" I was thinking all the time: WOW!! This really rocks!!
But in "Helvetios" I didn't feel it. It hadn't any good surprise while listening it. All was predictable.
"Helvetios" is a good album but, for my opinion, it's not the best of Eluveitie.
