Seven days earlier, Boro' suffered the trauma of losing not only the match at Kingstonian, to a 92nd minute goal, but also the talented Evandro Delgado, to a broken leg (and we all wish him well). A midweek draw, away at the league leaders, Hornchurch, was a bonus, but it was important to get another win, especially against Horsham, for whom the Reds might justifiably be called a bogey team.

Goals from Danny Buckle and Tristan Toney (recently joined from Lewisham Borough, after an eye-catching performance against us in a cup match) gave Boro' the victory, and another useful three points.
