MT is when you wanna have some real fun and actually feel like you are driving. AT is for when you just make a regular commute and find yourself in heavy traffic. What I absolutely hate is the fact that many sports cars lack the traditional MT, instead they have those stupid paddle shifters. And the people who drive those think they are badass.

Ok people so the answer is simple. Buy a techtronic. An automatic transmission with a manual shift mode. There you go. You can have both in 1.

@gajeebant What makes you say that!? Some ppl dont have money or time to wast to buy a car and try to learn it only to find out they dont have anybody to teach them and they just lost a lot of money. Stop judging people

@datflyguy215 no, it's funny how cool people think they are 'cause they drive a honda civic. transmission plays no role in the cool factor, it's all about how you present yourself. coming out of a civic just implies you're a total douchebag who's going to sell it after losing to your friend's minivan in a stop-light race. :D OR it's when they buy a rusted civic, drive it for two weeks, and tell everyone he's going to get a K20 swap - but he sells it for half the amount he bought it for.. lolll

@GifsPicture don't listen to him, he's complaining about wasting gas in a MT vehicle when technically they save you a bit more (if you know how to drive it properly, unlike mr.bmw here) oh, and his added step in an AT vehicle where you drink coffee = accidents. -_-

@quatroportte you can push both at the same time and it won't really matter much... (plus, that's a little too far with the steps don't you think? if you just drop the clutch, you don't have to downshift until the bitch moves out of the way so you can start to accelerate[this is assuming it's a panic stop, like you just stated]) overrevving? so you suck at shifting below 3k? wasting gas? au contrare, you (and again) don't know how to drive a manual transmission vehicle effectively. lol... fool.

When I want to drive automatic, then I get a sedan. There's nothing wrong with that, However, any real sports car, will not come with automatic transmission. If they do, then it's marketed for women. Stay away from those.
