The egosense is firmly established in our body. How can it be uprooted?

By self-effort and the resolute turning away from the pursuit of pleasure and the breaking down of the prison house of false dignity.

What is meant by "the pursuit of pleasure"? It is the pursuit of comfort. We want to move away from discomfort to comfort, cosiness.

Adventure sports and the comfort zone. Move away from the comfort/discomfort dynamic.

Self-image and hypocrisy. We have an image of ourselves which has little to do with how we actually are. Hypocrisy is part of society.

We like to have an image of ourselves which we feel comfortable with.

We rarely question the pursuit of comfort. Abandon motivation based on comfort and self-image. And don't panic! Realisation of the Supreme Being remains!

The attention always needs to turn to something. It is usually turned to the pursuit of comfort or the enhancement of self-image. If these are dropped then it can turn back on itself. This is supreme being.
