Starting your nitro engine

Hi, just a quick video i threw together for someone who asked, this should get you going, i found that 3 our on the high and low needle of pretty much any nitro engine is a good starting point. Thanks I was about to take it apart it sound like it was redlining on full throttle and then shifting like it didn't know whät to do and after about 100 feet to 125ft.

How do you adjust the shift time of the 2 speed syclone my kit go about 125 feet or more before it changes gears and it sound like its redlining off before it shifts to

@MrLamarm if you look at the transmission from the bottom you will see a silver disc, there are 2 grub screws on the disc, one holds it on the shaft the other adjusts the shift time, the one with a larger opening is the one that adjusts the shifting, you turn this counterclockwise a 1/2 turn and see if its better, if not turn 1/4 turn and try again.

@HimotoRacingUSA rod was getting parts in 4 days, my lhs rarely has what i need, traxxas, hpi, etc. they always seem to have to order what i break

lol i just havent herd much of you in a while.

i totally got out of nitro and himoto's. just because of the parts thing, you break something and you have to wait a while to get new stuff, so i got a traxxas rustler VXL insted. lots of parts at the LHS and upgrades...

i would have stayed with himoto if parts were easier to get where i am
