  • I live in Georgia and I want to vote for you based on this ad. Will Rahm clean up his potty mouth? FUCK NO!

  • This is a truly wonderful video. Loving the campaign all the way from NJ. It's so unconventional it's fantastic.

  • "You f***in' asked to see me, Mr. President?"

  • Why are you minimizing the environmental impact of CFLs?

Besides, your argument falls apart if I can source my electricity from non-coal based technology. Isn't that what we should be concentrating on, rather than this bait and switch environmentalism of light bulbs?

  • RosandGuil guessed correctly. I'm not sure why you're minimizing the environmental effects of coal plants.

  • I'm sorry you lost yesterday. I couldn't vote because I don't live in the district. But you ran a great campaign and have some really great ideas. I hope you'll try again next year - we really do need people like you, even if the career politicians block them out.

I hope the President takes notice and hires you to be on his team. :)

  • smartest campaign ad i've ever seen, dark knight and politics, maybe the Academy Awards should of thought of that

  • RosandGuil,

Thanks for not giving TerrorBlack a chance to answer. I'm aware of the information you supplied. I was attempting to take the discussion past the surface level of just repeating lame mantras that are misleading as justifications for crappy solutions (CFLs).

Which is more harmful? Minute concentrations of mercury released in our voluminous atmosphere over several years, or a relatively high concentration released instantaneously in your living room?

  • He was probably referring to coal, which comprises the majority of our energy production and emits far more mercury into the atmosphere powering an incandescent bulb than producing and powering a CFL.

  • Does all energy generation emit mercury into the atmosphere? Or did you have a particular form of energy generation in mind?

  • You know, over the life of the bulb, generating the energy spent powering an incandescent bulb would emit 4 times as much mercury into the atmosphere as is contained in a CFL.
