  • I have it tuned in Drop A....... except the 5th string is tuned up 1 step so the 4th fret sounds the same as the 4th string - and played using Line 6 Spider III amp's "Riggs Insane" preset. Drop A is just your standard B tuning and the 6th string dropped down to A..... the same concept as Drop D tuning but much much lower with more bass scale tones and use Elixir Nanoweb - Heavy guage strings!!!!

  • i like the idea, but not fast enough for me. - the way i like those " brutal " riffs.. - well, its basically, to combine some scales like phyrigan dominant, and harmonic minor,.. create a little funny melody on the low strings, and then do some seriously fast Djent type rythmes.. like polyrythms.. i cant really explain it,.. the short way: Combine Cannibal corpse/Benighted with Meshuggah.. haha.
