This tape was recorded by a Charleston record store owner friend of ours named Billy (that's him saying "Kenny O'Dell" at 1:50) who was in the same Nashville studio where Wings were working on Junior's Farm at the time. No McCartney involvement at all in this song sung by Mr. O'Dell. But that is McCartney at the very end (3:56) asking Billy if he was "taping all of it".

This song is supposed to be a song entitled "Homecoming Queen", which was the B-side of a Kenny O'Dell song "Lizzie And The Rain Man", Kapp 2178, issued 1972. It was recorded at the Soundshop, Nashville. Composed by Kenny O'Dell and Larry Henley, who was the singer on The Newbeats' "Bread And Butter" in 1964.

It was originally claimed to be from Wings in 1974, but it's actually a song from country artist Kenny O'Dell in 1972.

Even with it's original story, this was supposed to be Wings in 1974, not The Beatles.

I wonder who this is, I really like this song. It doesn't sound like Paul, it sounds like an American song to me, and I can't imagine anyone throwing away something this good.
