I think the British were too quick in returning Hong Kong to China. They should have it conditional on you getting out of Tibet and returning it to the Tibetans.

If you think you own Tibet because you exerted military control over it once then by that reasoning Monglia actually owns the rest of China because you were all controlled by it once. Why don't you lay down your arms and dismiss your government and submit to Mongolian rule? They are after all your rightfull masters - they conquered you once.

But then I guess you really have to choose if you want to submit to Mongolia or Japan - they conquered much of country much more recently.

Where in those maps, do you see eveidence that Tibet was always a part of China. In the most of them it completely separate.

Where do see evidence taht China was always unified.

The 5 dynasties, The Warring Staes - What do think those names mean - Unified China? I don't think so.

Your maps show each dynasty at its greatest size, at its peak. They were smaller and controlled less land for much of their duration.

In your Qing map you have included protectorates as though they were provinces. WRONG
