Aboslutely not only one of the best hardcore punk, but also one of the most underated bands of all time. I can't believe I'd see the day where 14 year old kids would be buying Minor Threat T shirst at hot topic in the mall, but at least we still have PI's prolific albums to rely on.

I believe the original was called the Filthkicker ep. Only 2000 were made and distributed by hand by the band. On the back it said "distributed by the band cus we are tired of getting ripped off by bullshit labels." Its this kind of band that will turn young boys into men! I got #1197

if you listen closely to this song, one can pretty much tell just how fucking awesome these guys are. the original vinyl of this was called Ian MacKaye and had a closeup of jerrys butthole on the cover, the cassette version was called Get Loaded and Fuck.

poison ida must have had a ton of respect for the germs because they always incorporate the germs circle into their artwork and their first demo is titled "darby crash rides again."
