In the case of the shoe store employee,a black college student returned a pair of shoes after purchasing a cheaper pair elsewhere. The employee printed "dumb n-word"(the racial slur) in the customer name field. The student's parents got upset about it,of course. Use of racial slurs is unprofessional and inappropriate for a business environment. If Dr. Martin Luther King were living today,he would have been shocked by all this,had he learned.

In the case of the Domino's Pizza delivery driver,he delivered to a black household,and the message on the receipt contained the n-word,followed by "don't tip"(the racial slur). The woman who ordered went to the place herself with the receipt that she showed to the manager,and the manager fired the driver. The woman's young niece first discovered the slur,then let her aunt know.

Paul Dawson never thought that mishap would get him into trouble. He was not being mean or racist in any way. The student "had a hair up his ass",complaining to administration. Dawson vowed solemnly to never do anything like that again,and Keysean Chavers,the aforementioned complaintant,remained Dawson's student.
