man joe, your advice,tips,training,and techniqes are very much helpful. Ive been cuting hair on and off now for about four years, and now i'am very stable. i from the chi and you kno hair cutz is a life-style up here, and so thats why i'am going to go to school and the rest is history! P.S. your doing a good job, all haters put aside

Hi Alex. great post. I was checking into going to Barber school. It is going to set me back 8000.00. That is the best I can do around my area. Is that too much to pay? I also have to buy a 'Barbers kit' prior to starting school. That is running 800.00 What do you think?

mr campbell this is barbering mike i enjoy cutting hair and im cutting wherever its covenient for $. i am in the process of getting my license. my question is barbering or cosmetology lic. i dont mind doin women's hair. i just want to be versatile and make the money from women's hair to.

Get both if you can. You can cut hair with a cosmetology license, you just can't use a razor. Barbers license allows you use a razor.
