Linguistic speed dating

Every Monday, some 70-80 people get together in Seoul to practice the various languages that they are learning and make friends! This "linguistic speed dating" idea seemed interesting and fun, and people seemed to like it, so I think we will be doing this regularly, and wanted to share this with you!

Wow, this is just a wonderful idea! I can't stop smiling after seeing your video.. As a language lover myself, I can just picture how wonderful such meetings would be... Say, I'm planning a trip to Korea in June.. Do you think I could attend, even if it's just once? I'd sure love to share my knowledge of languages and get a chance to practice my Korean while I'm there! :O)

Hyunwoo, could you do a video about dating culture in Korea? How men/women approach each other and talk to each other? It could be very interesting to see the differences as I'm sure Koreans are way umm, how do I put this, more polite when hitting on each other. :P

hey hyunwoo ~~ this is a great idea! i've used speed dating in classes before, but i never thought of using it myself to learn korean! sounds like a super fun way to get to meet a lot of people and to use a lot of languages. i'll have to make it up to seoul for this language speed experience ^_^ thanks for sharing your idea!

When I come to Korea next autumn I'll Definitely love to join you guys in this great idea meet up! (also the speed date sounds fun) and I'm sure I can benefit from this and share my experience of 5 languages including my native Arabic.
