so sry but my 2200 mifi I just type virginmobile.mifi into the browser URL bar, login, use the wifi status pull down menu and viola' I gits all the computers and mac addy's on my mifi including the little script kiddie who likes to hack my honey pot, little does they know I'm keeping records and will be dropping the ball soon, his parents will be paying me handsomely to keep him out of jail.

@TheUnkillable3316: I've wanted the same thing in the past. I don't know of any command line tool, but a nice GUI that does this is etherape.

You dont need to be root to do apt-cache search or aptitude search. So don`t use sudo 4 that.

@germanach: True, just a habit of mine. Most the time I'm going to install after searching anyway. But, you are correct. you don't need to be root or sudo to view that information.
