It's worth to mention that this kind of sound sung by Abbey Lincoln will be very developed by the bossa-nova musicians from Brazil like João Gilberto, Tom Jobim, Carlos Lyra, for example. Bossa Nova became a brazilian musical language with the same importance of Jazz.
