Back in the middle to late 60's, into the early 70's, my mother worked in a Green Stamp Redemption Center in upstate New York. We had an IGA too, but the Victory Supermarket chain was the biggie in the area. I can still taste the nasty adhesive on the back of the stamps when I licked a few to paste them into the books. Thanks for the memory trip.
