"No." Miley pulled away and stepped out of the shower. Water dripped everywhere, but she didn't care. She needed to get as far away from Nick as she could. She left to her bedroom and stripped out of the wet clothes. She pulled out a big wool sweater and a pair of sweats. She dug around the bottom of the drawer for some of Nick's clothes when he left them behind.

She made sure she was strong enough before she went back into the bathroom. Nick was sitting in the tub now, the water spraying all over him. She switched the shower off and threw a towel at him. "I know you're conscious."

Nick took the towel and struggled to stand up.

Miley gradually walked over and helped him out of the shower. She wiped the pale blue cotton over his wet face and dried his chest. "Do you think you're okay enough to get yourself dressed?" She asked, but her only answer was Nick leaning against her. She pulled him away from the bathroom and into her bedroom. She pushed him onto her bed and stripped him of his boxers.

She kept her eyes away from him and pulled the cotton white t shirt over his head. She struggled to move his boxers up his slick legs and blushed when she accidentally brushed against him. "Okay, you're dressed." She quickly moved away from him and scratched her head.

"Come lay with me." Nick patted the bed and snuggled against her pillow.

"No." Miley shook her head and left her bedroom.

She walked into the living room and laid across the couch, trying to erase the thought of Nick's lips on hers from her mind. "I like Justin now." She told herself and rubbed her fingers over her lips. "I love Justin now . . ." She said and nearly gasped at the L word.

Nick rolled over and sighed at the fresh pear scent. He rubbed his face deeper against the pillows and then something in his mind clicked. Why wasn't Brandon crying? He peeked an eye open and look around the room with a glazed vision. He hadn't remembered Selena rearranging the room . . . or painting the walls a mint green.

Her laughter echoed off the walls, but he realized he was alone in the bed. He slowly lifted the comforter and saw he wasn't naked, but was in his boxers. "Shit." He rubbed his palm roughly against his eyes.

He quickly sat up and let the roll of drowsiness slap him in the face. He groaned and pushed himself out of bed. He glanced around for his pants and shirt, but didn't spot them anywhere. "Oh, for Christ's sake." He muttered, realizing that this was Miley. She'd seen him naked plenty times before. He didn't understand the sudden feeling of embarrassment run through him until now. The need to run away from Miley and into the arms of Selena.

He cracked the door open and heard noise coming from the television. He assumed Miley was up watching TV, her favorite show, which could explain the loud laughter. He walked out; set on telling her that whatever happened the night before was a complete mistake, but stopped mid-step. The words caught up in his throat when he saw Justin and Miley snuggled up on the couch watching TV.

"What the hell is he doing here?" Justin asked. The smile that was on his face a mere second ago was replaced with a scowl.
