pffff... I don't know why people are overreacting. I'm French, and never had any problem at the beach. The CRS lifeguards are perfectly trained. And if you think that in your country, all lifeguards are doing the same job all day, you're wrong. Some of them might even pick up your bins in winter, and you wouldn't know about it, but you still trust them when you're at the beach.
So why making such a fuss. At least, they guarantee security and peace....I can't ask for more ^^

If you are always doing riot work that will effect you in a bad way. Can be good to switch over to other duty's to cool down from the not so nice work in the suburbs of Paris.

people commenting this video can be so dumb at times. They are cops but they are trained as lifeguards, THEY ARE NOT ENFORCING THE LAW, THEY ARE TRYING TO PROTECT THE PEOPLE. Dumbasses!

Typical Germans. They always think they know so much about the ocean. When they come to Denmark(where i live) on holiday they always ending up in trouble in the water because they don't have any respect of the ocean..
