ScoBrownCommonheath ; I am like you I believe only in honesty in songwriting because it is no coincidence that the best singer songwriters like Neal and Ryan are just that. You only have to listen to Dylan, Springsteen and Joni Mitchell to name but three to confirm this. Now then, I beg you to check out the little known Jonathan Kelly if you really want honesty in your music. He is probably the most criminally neglected singer songwriter ever so check him out because it is certainly worth it!

I like this because I believe them. I listened to Neal Casal's 'Bird In Hand' and the heartbreak is there. He shares it. Ryan is an honest musician who takes what he's doing seriously. I get it, I get him. I prefer the truth in my musicians. If want bullshit, I'll watch the news or get married again.
