Spiritual practice is generally about changing your attitude...and people who are not intrested in spiritual practice are people who dont have any meaning in their life because they dont give their life meaning. How striking and deep!! It really made me change the way I look at things....

Thank you. I agree with you.

loving criminals does not equal to letting them free. Loving criminals is to try and rehabiliate them. If that fails, they should be kept away from causing more harm to others. That is being kind to criminals. They deserve a chance too, that is if they are really sincere and serious about changing to be a good guy. neonlama(dot)com

What you said is true about unconditional love. And it is very tragic that it is like that in the world. I do think very deeply. I consider myself a philosopher. I believe in loving all living beings. But I don't believe in letting all criminals free.

Unconditional love exists, but it's rare and hard to find. I am not doubting your love, but to make you think deeper as we are not at the level of loving someone unconditionally yet because if you love one being, you have to love the rest of them unconditionally. (tsemtulku(dot)com/Forum

real spiritual practice is to bear things that are normally not bearable. This is the sign that we have spiritual improvements. But on the outside, it looks like we have not changed at all as people cannot tell until the situation comes around. (tsemtulku(dot)com)

when real spiritual practice is applied, on the outside it looks as if nothing changes, but at the same time everything actually changes when your motivation and prespective about everything and how you see things because now you react differently than you did before when in reality nothing has really changed. neonlama(dot)com

okay i have been on the forum, but not PM'd Joey. I'll go pm Joey.
This talk is pure, white gold - encrusted with diamonds and rubies. I tried to take notes but ended up writing down almost his every word. This was a missing link in my understanding. Thank you Tsem Rinpoche.
