Finns got totally screwed in WW2. Attacked without declaration of war by Soviets, then virtually forced to ally with Hitler. They got to be on the "losers" side of the conference table in 1945. Finland couldn't catch a break in the 30's OR after the war with the Soviets bullying them thereafter. They still make the best Vodka though...

It was Sweden that was nutral. You Americans have blinkers on and think WWII was soley YOUR war to be won.The war was going on 3 years before you got off your ass because of the Japs at Pearl Harbour.Finns lost 3?4 of their men at war you twit, percentage wise more than anybody else.

I lol'd. Finland fought almost 6 years in WWII. 1939-1940 was the winter war, and after that was continuation war until 1944, when began the Lapland war.
-
Yeah. You should read more about Finland in WWII. There were actually ´two´ wars for Finland; The Winter War and the Continuation War. People were probably not as cheery as they seem in this film, though, if you want to say it was not real.

Of course Finland was in the war .. they were in before almost anyone else really when Russia attacked them ala Poland style.
This comment has received too many negative votes show
finland wasn't even in the war, so this isn't even real

What??? I recommend a course in European history...
And in case anyone else has any doubts: Yes, this is a real propaganda film from 1942, just as it says in the text.
