Another Bambi Francisco interview (good) and another niche website (not so good). Here's my take: Just because you can define a super tight niche / vertical doesn't mean it's a good idea to build a business model around it. See this video for an example. It's almost like David and his investors now realize they made a mistake but it is too late. Maybe they can salvage something out of this, but in its current incarnation it's just too small and also has a misspelled domain name, which will cause navigation problems, with people winding up at tackle.com, which sells fishing tackle, of course. If referring to the interview: Yes, it is weak. That's why it's up there. The flaws were pretty obvious to me but probably could have used more explaining. It's too tight of a niche in my opinion. Limited reach. Plan needs broadening to survive. IMHO.
If referring my intro: I was trying to show some of the problems an Internet user might have in trying to find the site, but I dumbed it up too much, took too long and didn't cover the problems with the business itself. My bad.
