Sadly, this kind of vocal talent and training is currently considered distasteful in American popular music. Mary Martin was a Broadway legend in her time.

Sacrilege maybe but it made me laugh,what a treat to see Mary Martin,the original Nelly Forbush and mama of Larry Haggman(JR)at her comic best and to see Noel Coward himself.
