  • Funny, yet kind of sad...when I realize that what was percieved as a joke in those days would be considered a great soprano. Haha.

  • Sacrilege maybe but it made me laugh, what a treat to see Mary Martin, the original Nelly Forbush and mama of Larry Haggman(JR)at her comic best and to see Noel Coward himself.

    Thanks for posting.

  • Brilliant! Hilarious! Love it!

  • como se llama la cancion? es hermosa ¿song?

  • @wattever333 I like his unnecessary bit though, makes me laugh.

  • @wattever333 that's strange. I'm sure I wrote that >2 years ago.

  • noel coward's bit wasn't necessary.

  • LOL. LOL Nothing wrong with her vocal production. Very healthy!

  • Sadly, this kind of vocal talent and training is currently considered distasteful in American popular music. Mary Martin was a Broadway legend in her time.

  • I think the musical performer in the pass age would project their voice with the classical way. Not only Mary martin, many old actors in the theater their voice heard very operatic. You can also find the thing from the perform "Hey!Mr. Producer"
