I cannot say whether this is a masterpiece or not. All I can say is I didn't like it at all! I came here after watching Pina Bausch's choreography and this is at the very least old-fashioned in comparison. This, of course, is natural, but I also found this one lacking in grace and imagination. My personal humble opinion...

@ladylungs This doesn't look entirely like the Nijinsky choreography, as much of the movement is more graceful and the solo dancer Bari seems too dramatically connected to the other dancers. Sravinsky's original envisioning, which was used by Nijinsky, was a sacrificial virgin seemingly abandoned by the others around her, left to dance herself into oblivion. Nijinsky's choreography for her was robotic, labored, and a far cry from the performance above which is fluid and widespread

i love classic music and i love ballett but this is terrible
