My first ivf attempt and I had hyperstimulation, and it wasn't fun.

  • Sorry you had to go thru what you did, just be happy you didn’t have to do the draining. I was tell my husband that still to this day that was the worst pain I’ve ever had to go thru. I wish you lots of luck in your journey to conceive.

  • @miamirules Im happy your wife is doing good now, and your very right its "hell" :(

  • Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm going through the same rightnow, but no cramping. I had my egg retrieval last Sunday and three days later I started to feel really bloated, shortness of breath and just plain miserable.I called my nurse and she asked me to come in the next day and be prepared to have the fluid drained (meaning don't drink and eat after midnight), they were going to put me under anesthesia just like they did for the egg retrieval. I didn't have "enough" fluid to drain.

  • thank you for sharing....my wife had a similar experience recently and it was hell on earth...I was scared for her, but thank God she is fine.

  • Great attitude girl, good luck in the next cycle.
