Time lapse video of an approaching gust front and then a tornado/gustnado or two after it passed us. Note the wicked "kink" in the airstream as the gust front approaches. This was about one mile south of O'Neill Nebraska, May 30, 2011.

This was a very linear storm structure, many cells training over the same location. There was a tornado reported about 30 mintues earlier west of O'Neill in Atkitson.

  • Hi, IT IS A VERY GOOD TIME LAPSE.

  • @jaredstrong Hi Jared, if you grew up around O'Neill, do you know any of the Sanfords? Bryan Sanford is my cousin, and his kids are Shelby (@20yrs. old) and Logan (3rd. grade. They live about 10 miles north of the Page turnoff...east of O'Neill.

  • Incredible, and I had been camping just a day before these tornadic storms passed through holt county. A lot of my family still lives in O'Neill and that is where I am originally from. Nice video!
