A Tour Of Poor Dayton - Beavercreek Pt. 1

I am going up North Fairfield Road in Dayton. This is tour of Beavercreek, Ohio.

Around Beavercreek, this community is located in Greene County.

Within miles of Dayton's major attractions, Beavercreek offers The Greene, Mall at Fairfield Commons, Wright State University, Erwin J. Nutter Center, and Beavercreek High School.

Beavercreek is a branch of the whole Beavercreek Township. This community was created in the 1980s. When I was growing up North Fairfield Road was a country road with farmhouses, and tree for miles to see.

Rapid development (in which the coined phrase, urban sprawl) has also been the downfall of this community. Dayton is the 15th largest city in home foreclosure. And many developers are circling around Interstate 675 to make more sprawl and less development.

Believe me, I am seeing an exdous of citizens leaving Ohio due to urban sprawl, job loss, and businesses closing up.

This should be an example of the reasons for Dayton's turmoils.

FAQ- The reason why I call this A Tour of Poor Dayton is because of the area's declining population, people losing jobs, boarded homes, businesses closing and economic turmoil in Montgomery, Miami and Greene Counties. And mostly Ohio in general. I am giving those who have never been to Dayton a chance to understand the plight of manufacturing communities.

So that will put to rest any questions of why I titled the videos!
