Wow, a genuine 1990 Nintendo World Championships cart!!! I can't imagine how it's felt to own such a treasure for so long and be it's original owner! If I had the money, I would happily buy it off ya, but since I don't, I'll just make myself happy with my fresh 130$ commodore 64 purchase off amazon lol. Sad you are going to sell it at the same time though...it's a really priceless item. also, I thought the story on ebay was well written.

@Xztophe do you have a hitbox?

~Holy grail???? I'd say ultra rare but holy grail is the gold cartridge, however nice tetris action and rare game never the less, kudos!

i'm surprised you can even hook an NES up to a modern television set. did you need any special cables or adapters?

This a great video! I appreciate you putting this on the tube for us all the check out.

@crazywhiteboytv He's the original owner of the cart and official competition controller. Why bother with a reproduction? Anyone can get a blue cart.
The purpose of the video is to show the Official cart and controller not a knock off Blue cart.

Why did you play this you aren't supposed to thats what reproductions are for

you're very very very good at tetris!

nice controller!!
Hey man just saw your auction on ebay. This sure is a prized game you have there, but I think the starting price is a bit much in my book. I have read in other places that the grey carts only go for $1000 - $5000. I'm not saying that its too pricey, because you do have other items on the auction that could add up too $11,990.90. In my opinion I think that you could go down a bit.

Outdated info, they sell for much more now. Also, the NWC controller #1 type is the first-sighting, and by all accounts even rarer than the gold cart. I can understand why you think its overpriced, but its worth what people are willing to pay in an auction situation. Ive heard it may be underpriced, especially with new added items to the listing making it a one of a kind event. I have been talking terms with potential bidders, so I don't have the feeling at all that I should lower, Sorry~! :D

I'm not trying to be a jerk here (and please don't take it that way), but why do some people operate handheld controllers (meant to be operated held in the hand) like they're typing on a keyboard or playing on an arcade cabinet? Is there some kind of competitive efficiency in doing it that way? Seems kind of awkward to me. I've even seen people use PlayStation controllers that way and wonder why they keep getting beat at some games when they're not using the shoulder buttons.

Index and middle finger operate faster than thumbs, especially when both buttons need to be accessed independently, in a time critical fashion, or very rapidly in succession. Increases precision in some cases. It can be awkward at first, if one is not used to it... but I can do either way without issues, other competition gamers do too.
