  • good way of making use of a 1,5 - 2 M fall in a slow moving stream, or will it be better to lay down 2 Km of 4 inch pipe up stream to get the pressure u need to run a conventional turbine ?

  • seems like a waste of energy to use the slow moving water on the inside to push on the paddles. no? there must be some large gearing going on to spin that generator anywhere near fast enough to produce

  • @clearlogicify I was kidding :D I meant why would it be good to make a vortex (with the spinning shaft in the middle :D) So that it spins the vortex and not vice versa :)
